The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train brought out throngs of onlookers to Saskatoon’s City Park on Monday evening.

The train, adorned with brightly coloured Christmas-themed decorations and lights pulled in to the city, carrying singer-songwriter Colin James, a Regina native who’s been nominated for multiple Juno Awards. He, along with entertainers Emma-Lee, Jonathan Roy and Alan Doyle are performing at stops across Canada.

The train raises funds and food for local food banks in communities along its route.

On Wednesday, the train will roll into Wilkie, Macklin, Provost and Hardisty.
