Elections Saskatchewan is pulling in extra workers wherever it can after many voters experienced longer-than-expected wait times during the first day of advance polling.

Advance polls opened Tuesday at 3 p.m. Advance polling is available from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m until Friday and from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday. Voters must go to their assigned advance polling station, which is indicated on their voter registration card or can be found on the Elections Saskatchewan website.

The busiest times of day at the advance polls Tuesday were at 3 p.m. and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

This is the first year Saskatchewan residents can vote at advance polls without a reason.
